Example with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700 & FOREST CAT700 (1)
In this setup two switches were used.
In this example, the router/modem, NAS (Network Attached Storage with music files) and Intel NUC (ROON core) are connected to the 1st switch with AudioQuest FOREST CAT700 cables and then the 1st and 2nd switch are connected to each other by means of a (long) AudioQuest FOREST CAT700.
Finally, the end point or streamer was connected to this (2nd) switch with an AudioQuest CARBON CAT700 cable.

Simple setup with (long) AudioQuest FOREST CAT700 directly from router/modem to switch located near the setup or streamer/endpoint.

This slightly more difficult but very good setup uses one switch and a galvanic isolation with two converters + associated sfp modules and cable.
Of course, as in each of the setup examples, all AudioQuest CAT700 cables are finished with the 'better' Telegärtner rj45 connectors.
To achieve the best result, the normally supplied (wall) power supplies from the two converters and the switch have been replaced with better power supplies, which is an often-underestimated improvement.
In this example, the router/modem, NAS (Network Attached Storage with music files) and Intel NUC (ROON core) are connected to the switch with AudioQuest FOREST CAT700 cables, the 1st converter is also connected to the same switch, but with the ' better' AudioQuest CARBON CAT700.
The two converters are then connected to each other with fiber optic cable (single or multi-mode).
Finally, the 2nd converter is now the connection point for the end point or streamer, here with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700.
Example with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700 & FLA-TS CR-1 (5)
Very good setup with two switches, where (as always) all AudioQuest CARBON CAT700 cables + the triple shielded 100mb cable FLA-TS CR-1 are finished with Telegärtner rj45 connectors.
To achieve the best result, the power supplies supplied with the switches have been replaced with better power supplies (SBooster).
In this example, the router/modem, NAS (Network Attached Storage with music files) and Intel NUC (ROON core) are connected to the 1st switch with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700 cables and then the 1st and 2nd switch are also connected with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700.
Finally, the end point or streamer was connected to this (2nd) switch with the FLA-TS CR-1 cable.

Simple setup with AudioQuest FOREST CAT700 or CARBON CAT700 from in wall connection to switch with optional NAS (Network Attached Storage with music files) and possible NUC (Roon) + streamer (endpoint) connected to the same switch with AudioQuest CARBON CAT700.
UTP cable from router/modem to wall socket unknown.

Simple setup with router/modem + NUC equipped with internal hard drive with your music files, connected with AudioQuest Forest or Carbon CAT700 to the switch and then connected to your choice of AudioQuest Carbon CAT700 or Fla-ts CR-1 to the endpoint/streamer
